Shin Megami Tensei V is the showtime game in the series to have a simultaneous worldwide release, although the game came out in the West a twenty-four hour period later.
The game'south release date, "2021.11.eleven," may exist a reference to the championship'southward roman numeral "5", instead written with five "I" (i) symbols.
Shin Megami Tensei Five shares many of its UI elements with Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE, such as skill, ailment and buff icons, the color scheme and the level up screen.[11]
In the English dub of the game, all demons who accept origins of Japanese mythology entities are left undubbed, instead keeping their voice lines from the Japanese version.
From half-dozen/17 to six/20/2021, costless gems were given as a login bonus in Shin Megami Tensei: Liberation Dx2 to commemorate the reveal of the release date of Shin Megami Tensei V.[12]
